We watched Mr. Moore’s latest creation last night. I can’t say much surpised me about the film. I was no fan of the Bush administration to begin with, but Moore didn’t bring anything to my attention that stretched my opinion in either direction. I ran the usual gamut of emotions from surprise to disbelief to utter disgust. Pretty much standard fare for my preusal of the morning news on any given day.

Something that bothered me about the “documentary” was that he seemed to focus a bit too much on one or two people. A woman from Michigan and the story of her son lost in battle was certainly touching, but 20min worth of focus on this topic made me feel that Moore was trying to stretch his material a bit too thin. Anyone who has read the news this decade knows that there’s plenty of material to prove the executive brance of our government incompetent. But that’s a blog for another day.
